Following the military escalation between the United States, Israel and Iran, extensive airspace closures have been in effect across parts of the Middle East since 28 February 2026. In addition, official travel warnings have been issued for several countries in the region.
Against this background, Capital Holidays / Etihad Holidays are cancelling all upcoming holidays to the United Arab Emirates and Oman with arrivals up to and including 8 March 2026.
We are also cancelling bookings with arrivals up to and including 8 March 2026 where a scheduled stopover is planned in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar or Bahrain.
Decisions regarding departures after 8 March 2026, including itineraries with stopovers in the above-mentioned countries, will be made in the coming days in line with further developments.
