Discover a different view of Zanzibar at Aluna Paje, where palms rise through the pool deck and the rooftop opens onto ocean and village views. Set in the lively centre of Paje, this boutique hotel combines contemporary design with African details. Furniture crafted from reclaimed dhow wood and decorations made from recycled materials give its interiors a distinctive island character. King and Twin rooms feature air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and terraces overlooking the garden and pool. For family holidays in Zanzibar, the Family Room offers a king-size bed, bunk beds, and a spacious terrace. Its sleeping areas are separated by a curtain, with a fan in the bunk-bed area. Apartments opposite the hotel provide another accommodation option, with a large terrace, kitchenette and minibar. The island character continues at Aluna Paje Restaurant & Sunset Bar, where dining draws on Zanzibar’s culinary traditions, with fresh fish, meat dishes and locally sourced produce. Enjoy a cocktail beside the pool or settle onto the palm-fringed terrace overlooking the ocean and pool. Between meals, make time for a swim in the first-floor pool, a spa massage or a workout in the gym on the panoramic terrace. For days of discovery, the hotel can arrange excursions, including visits to Jozani Forest and Prison Island.
