The resort is very near to the Uroa Village, a typical fisherman's village, on the central east coast of Zanzibar, near Kiwengwa. The airport is about 40 km.

The resort was modernised in 2025. The resort has 6 suites, 168 single rooms and 211 double rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival.
